Relevant quote from the manual (emphasis mine):

To get a critical hit, you need to beat the evasion roll by a certain amount. This amount is 7 points
plus one point per full pound of weight of your weapon.

With the information above, I would expect that my base critical score is 5. Base of 7 + 2 pounds (from 2.5) - 2 Finesse - 2 Subtlety = 5

However, the screenshot of the combat log appears to indicate the base crit score is actually 5.5. Also possible I've done basic math wrong, so apologies in advance if I've missed something!

Your maths looks correct, but the manual should probably say "per pound" rather than "per full pound". Thanks for noting this.

Sure thing and that's basically what I figured. Personally I liked the whole numbers implied by the manual but in either case an easy fix!
