Feature request: polling devices that do not support continuous mode

Hello and thank you for developing sigrok and pulseview.
Some devices e.g. RP2040 do not support continuous capture, yet sometimes it would be useful to run capture sessions in a loop. I tried launching sigrok-cli in a loop but it appears to create significant overhead (and cannot be integrated with pulseview).
