  • [X ] I am using Signal-Desktop as provided by the Signal team, not a 3rd-party package.

Bug Description

Signal not refreshing, sending or receiving messages after period of inactivity. Same happens after locking screen or after suspend.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Use signal as normal
  2. Leave signal open on the background for a period of time (not sure how long this takes)
  3. Write messages
  4. Notice at some point that recipient has not received those messages

Actual Result:

Signal not refreshing, sending or receiving messages after period of inactivity

Expected Result:

Signal application updating and connected as normal even after period of inactivity
