Can't mute notifications on a single device

Since yesterday's update when I mute someone on the phone it mutes on desktop as well, which means that I don't ever see Signal blinking in the taskbar when someone messages me. I don't want to hear the annoying beeps on the phone every time someone messages me but I do want to see the taskbar icon flashing on the desktop, up until yesterday this was working fine, now both desktop and phone are linked, this is annoying AF, how can I revert back to the old one?
