Show number of unread threads in taskbar

Would be handy to see number of unread threads in taskbar like e.g. in skype

Use case:
you are working... someone sends you low prio messages one after one and you do not want to check incoming messages continuously to see if someone else may have send important ones.
-> If you can see the number of unread threads in the taskbar (like its possible in skype) and it does not rise: there is no need to check incomming messages often because only some more of the low prio messages have come in...
