It would be nice to be able to either collapse all open images or hide them on an individual bases (along the lines of slack). Currently running into an inconvenience issue where someone in a group chat posts a highly animated gif, and then we either have to stare at it until it pops off the top of the screen, or someone starts spamming /collapse to hide them.

I'm not sure if this is quiet related but I have a different use case for hiding/blurring images - I received images which I wanted to keep in the conversation but didn't want others to see in case they look over my shoulder.
It would be ideal if it was possible to request to hide an image until a button is clicked to reveal it again (I have Facebook's "click to unhide disturbing image" kind of interface in mind).
