platformio dependencies should be locked to a particular version to avoid upstream changes from breaking the build or causing other issues.

Found this over the weekend in my PIO learning, has some decent version control options like specifying a “compatible” version, exact versions and ranges of versions, etc. You’ve probably already seen this, but just in case!
