How to download as an mp4 file

hello, i just wanna ask a question.
how to make the download output exactly as i want (ie. mp4 360p)?
i've tried with the gear button onthe right side of the link bar, but everytime i close the tab to press the download button, it automatically reset to mkv 720p, and the downloaded file is exactly an mkv file. i've tried opening the app as administrator, but it doesnt help at all..

That's strange. Shouldn't happen, especially if you run it as administrator. You can try deleting the config file manually and then open the program again. It should be found at %appdata%/YoutubePlaylistDownloader (delete everything in that folder)

thankyou for your quick response! to delete the config files, should i close the app first, or can i do it while the app is still opened?

A Little update. it worked! but i got another problem. i can't seem to find where the downloaded videos are. i've checked the folder that i designed to, but it is empty

Make sure you run it as administrator, and then try again to see if the files appear in the chosen directory
