Describe the bug
can not connect to ss server

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. open shadowsocks-android v5.1.0
  2. click the connected button
  3. click test connected
  4. See error

Expected behavior
v5.0.6 is good

emmm...how can i get logcat?

i cant find it on faq or readme...

it seem all the tools is need root when i can get logcat...but emui cant get root...

Looks like this is an issue only when plugin is enabled.

It's the same. I've already tried reinstalling yesterday. BTW, v2ray-plugin version is 1.3.1 from github release.

ss&cloak already uninstall and reinstall

Unknown plugin means shadowsocks cannot find the plugin in the system.

Double check you can find ck-client in the plugin section of your profile.

@madeye I think the issue is that there is no incoming traffic if plugin is enabled.

yes, I deleted a comment
after I reinstalled it, I forgot to give it permission.....so...cant find plugin
when I gave the permission, it was the same error as before

I just realized I was testing an incorrect profile -- no wonder plugins do not work on my end lol. (now everything seems fine)

I'm sorry for the late reply. Almost forgot about this issue. Tested 5.1.1 and it's still not working with v2ray-plugin. The same config works with 5.0.6. Logcat shows that shadowsocks could not connect to plugin. Logcat (server info removed):
