Misc handy quick access shell scripts Developed mainly for personal use but keeping in mind third-party use. So would be happy if someone will dind some useful here.
To use utils xdon, xdoff please copy to_place_in_home/.phpinipath to your home directory like /Users/user , edit it and place there correct path to your php.ini file like /usr/local/etc/php/php/7.3/php.ini for HomeBrew installed PHP 7.3 - best suited PHP version for MediaWiki development as in 2022.
*indicates whether sudo is required. Source reading before execution recommended.
xdon - Turn XDebug ON
xdoff - Turn XDebug OFF
*edhosts - Edit /etc/hosts via mcedit using root access
*writeiso.sh - MacOS utility to write .iso files to USB-stick
*ddprogress.sh - shows progress of dd command\
