This is really not needed. Setuptools can handle multiple OSs correctly.
Would you accept a PR for replacing this with a proper entry point?
And while we are at it:
I would also remove older python versions (Python 2.6, 3.3 and 3.4) and add 3.5, 3.6, 3.7.
Apparently, ccm won't work with newer versions.
