Just came across chart-fx. Their performance comparison is quite compelling relatively to jfreechart. Quite remarkable actually. We use PlotService extensively in SNT (e.g., to generate interactive, vector-based illustrations of neuronal reconstructions, and noticed that with large arbors, things get quite laggy. We could of course, adopt ourselves chart-fx, but adopting PlotService, seems to be a more future-proof way of doing things?
Distribution of JavaFX will soon not be a problem for Fiji, right?
