Download speed + progress stopped working

At some point in the last few days the download speed stopped working.

So far it's been sitting at 0%, with the progress bar a bit above 50%, for more than an hour. Not sure if it's working but very slow, or not working. Fresh install of Mac OSX package (1.0.0-beta3)

I am having the same issue on 1.0.0-beta5. Using Windows7, 64-bit.

This happened to me when I first installed, but I closed and opened again and it worked.

just attempted to close and reopen - now loading is stuck at the initialization screen (grey with white boxes), so my issue and error message from console above maybe related to #59...

No, thank you @blahah and everyone involved, this is a fantastic idea, I've been dissatisfied with closed library managers like Mendeley and F1000 for some time.

All known sync issues fixed in beta6, and transfer speed interface/online status detection restored.

If anyone finds more bugs with sync/progress please open a new issue. Thanks all!
