Provide better feedback in remote browser

The remote browser does not provide any feedback when an invalid path is entered. Instead it just undoes the user's entry. It should not do this. Tell the user the path does not exist and let them edit to fix it.

Also, when navigating through folders, the folder list can seem like it didn't update even when the user drilled down or up. We should provide a subtle fade in when the contents change.
