const add = (a, b) => a + b

export default (context, args) => add(args.a, args.b)

becomes (with --no-minify)

function(context, args) {
  let _01t6bqe7nf9_G_ = #G
  if (!#FMCL) {
    _01t6bqe7nf9_G_.add = (a, b) => a + b
  }
  return _01t6bqe7nf9_G_.add(args.a, args.b)
}

ideally it should become

function(context, args) {
  let add = (a, b) => a + b
  return add(args.a, args.b)
}
