Hi @laisangbum ,

  • Which laptop are you using?
  • What BIOS version are you having?
  • Are you trying to boot 11.0.1 or 11.1 Big Sur? If you installed 11.1 BigSur then you should try the release I just released v9.0 with OC 0.6.4
  • Also make sure that you clear the NVRAM (press space in the OC picker and select clear NVRAM)

Best regards!
sakoula

Try installing 10.15.7 or 11.1. Why don't you try Big Sur ? I think it is more likely the version of the OS (10.15.3)

make sure also you have followed this https://github.com/sakoula/XiaoMi-Air-6200U#unlock-cfg-lock

I can not download Big Sur. after install 10.15.3 i boot to Mac for the first time, the system show 10.15.7.
the first time i didn't unlock cfg, the system cannot boot to install screen. after clear nvram and unlock cfg, it could boot to install screen.

hi there, I do not think that Ventura is supported for skylake processors including the xiaomi. So in any case it would be better to install monterey in the specific laptop. Unfortunately I have not done it and I do not have access to the laptop all the time any more.

The ocb startimage failed - aborted can be caused by either an old version of OpenCore trying to boot a new version of macos or something related to filevault.

So:

  • Are you trying to use an separate disk for installing macos?
  • Have you unlocked your CFG? (what version of bios are you using?)
  • Are you using XiaoMi-Air-6200U right?
  • Which version of OpenCore are you using? Is the one from the repository?
  • I will try to update the EFI for installing and booting Monterey this weekend.
