In WSL (Ubuntu 20 in Windows 10 ) When I run
sudo sysctl net.inet.ip.forwarding=1
I got error:
sysctl: cannot stat /proc/sys/net/inet/ip/forwarding: No such file or directory

Hmm, im not sure if this program will work on WSL, ive tested it only on a MacOs machine. Were you able to find a workaround?
