Hi Ryan,

what's the licence for this Inkscape extension?

Could you please add one or tell me which one you'd like to use (hopefully one that allows to edit and publish the edits...)?

I've made a set of three derivatives (Forum topic: http://www.inkscapeforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&p=77751#p77751, Files (zip): http://www.inkscapeforum.com/download/file.php?id=5475) which solve the problem with the copying of the contents of the temporary file to the original Inkscape document, and do this for CutPath and Division, too, but totally forgot about asking about the licence first... :-(

I've now made a pull request, in case you'd like to have a whole set of these ;) Still, a licence would be good (GPLv2+ maybe?)

Just added the Licence -- went with GPL2, as this is what inkscape uses.

If you are happy with that i can merge your PR :)

Sorry for the slow reply :(

Inkscape is (transitioning to / or maybe already at) GPLv2+ now, see current decision on the board mailing list: http://sourceforge.net/p/inkscape/mailman/message/34764598/

Would that be okay for you, too, Ryan?

Too easy!

Although, i can't seem to find the text for GPLv2+ anywhere online, is there a place to find it so I can put it in the repo?

But from this point on, this extenstion is licensed GPLv2+

I haven't found any when I searched for one either (for a GPLv3+ project) :-( .
The solution I then chose for my project in that case was to just add an 'or later' into the texts ;)

Please go ahead with the merge :) (but test first if you haven't yet - I wouldn't call myself a programmer ;) ).

offtopic: btw. your Inkscape builds at https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/ryanlerch/inkscape-devel/build/103758/ all give me 404 errors :/
(we're currently updating the website, and moving the downloads page from the cms page to a django app) Should they still be included on the website?

Ryan, I've updated the fork to include the licence (GPLv2 or later). If you like, you can just merge now - no need for any other work for you ;)
