Mobs teleporting away when using golden lasso

Im having this issue when I use a golden lasso, the mobs teleport away back to the spot where I picked them up from. I cant find the problem at all. Ive tried different versions of Extra Utilities 2 and that did not work. Ive also tried RandomPatches and that did not work either. Can someone help me please.
