Note: it is made public in upstream, but is still broken in 0.4.2, which is the most recent crates.io release.

Thank you for letting me know. I've been lagging behind on updates for rulinalg. I'll push a new version with this fix today!

I believe the compiler/lang teams won't be reverting #42125, so I'm going to close this regression tracker.
