every previous version of the standard library documentation back to 1.0 is available on doc.rust-lang.org, but this fact is not advertised anywhere. in a traditional fs-based http server, there would be an index at https://doc.rust-lang.org/index.html, but that instead redirects to https://www.rust-lang.org/learn, a site that i am honestly tired of getting sent to whenever i forget to type something more specific.

Thanks for the report! I'm going to close as a duplicate of the given RFC. If there is a stylization problem with the /learn page, then reports of those should probably go to the website repo.

@ehuss ehuss closed this as not planned Won't fix, can't repro, duplicate, stale Sep 10, 2024

the problem isn't with the stabilization, it's the implication that only people new to rust would be trying to access the documentation, which frankly feels insulting.
