JRuby test on macOS hangs up frequently

Seems like something else is at play for it to run that long. I'll see if I can reproduce locally.

One form of failure is likely because we do not set up resolv as a default gem (see #19 which is actually about getting our modifications into this repository). Installing the gem doesn't overtake the one we ship, which has no Resolv::VERSION.

That is the cause of final failure in the JRuby jobs that don't run too long.

The ones that run too long may also be because our existing resolv does not have fixes expected by the tests in the newer version. I will endeavor to get our changes into resolv so we can switch it to a default gem.
