The Tools We Use

Here's a list of the tools and services that we currently use as a business, where *** represents tools that team members need access to.

Shared Tools

  1. Firebase*** — Cloud, DB, Store, Auth... and more.
  2. Stream*** — API / SDK
  3. Slack***
  4. GitHub***
  5. Gusto*** — Payroll
  6. Digital Ocean ***
  7. Stripe*** — Payment gateway, ecommerce.
  8. Brex*** — Corporate credit card
  9. Figma*** — Design Tool

Business Tools

  1. Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar) — Although, we save quite a bit of money per month since we do not require @yen.io email addresses for our team.
  2. Notion — We use this primarily for Venture Capital updates.
  3. QuickBooks
  4. Anytime Mailbox — Local, "virtual" corporate address.
  5. Adobe Systems — Adobe Premier and video editing.
  6. Mailgun — For The Bitcoin Pub's email delivery.
  7. PayPal
  8. Product Hunt SHIP
  9. CTCorporation
  10. DocSend — For slide decks.
  11. iwantmyname — Domain registration
  12. Twilio
  13. Discourse — The Bitcoin Pub's currently platform.
  14. YouTube
  15. Twitter
  16. Zoom
  17. Calendly
  18. Silicon Valley Bank
  19. Mercury Bank
  20. Gumroad — Use to sell access to #yenCAMP
  21. Anthem — Our healthcare provider, broker.
  22. Beam — Our dental / vision provider.
  23. Shopify — Swag store
  24. Epidemic Sound — Background music for vlogs
  25. Canva — Simple online graphic tool for thumbnails and other collateral.
