Internationalisation features are missing. Is there a plan to to add this in order to be able translate the texts used in radix template ( Author, Authors, Affilation, Affiliations, Published, citation, Footnotes...). Just like the possibility to change chapter prefix in bookdown. Or may be I missed something ?

No this isn't currently supported.

One of the problems is that Radix is based on the Distlll framework from Google (https://github.com/distillpub/template) which was in turn created to support a single English-only journal (https://distill.pub/). So retrofitting internationalization features requires that we change/override Distill behavior, which can be tricky.

Longer term it might be better for us to simply use the Distill CSS (rather than it's runtime and document transformations) so that we can gain full control over all of these aspects.
