Please describe why this package is not eligible for Fedora ?

It's not packaged by Fedora because it contains non-free (patents) encryption algorithms.

Is this software redistributable ?

Is this software an alternate version of a Fedora provided package ?

There is no Fedora package for Veracrypt.

Additional context

Veracrypt is the continuation of the very popular open source encryption software (Truecrypt), which has had multiple source code audits and is therefore widely trusted by the FOSS community. It allows you to create extremely strongly encrypted containers, which are portable to other operating systems (i.e. Mac and Windows).

It's a shame that it doesn't exist in Fedora itself due to patents. There are some untrusted people running private versions on COPR but for sensitive software like this, they can't be trusted.

The Fedora package of Veracrypt needs to be from a trusted source, which means either Fedora itself (which it can't), or you - RPM Fusion.

It seems like it would be a perfect fit for RPM Fusion.

Now "serious Linux Folk" are using luks to encrypt natively in Linux. So I'm not sure why anyone still use it (beyond cross plate-form compatibility, which is nuts).
