Looking at #1 which is five years old and still open, I guess this extension is not supported any more.

I would be very nice if it get removed from this page:

https://extensions.gnome.org/

Otherwise a lot of time gets wasted

In case someone else gets here, the solution is included by default in the newest Gnome: "simply change the keyboard shortcut"
