Bad Connection no matter what I do. #72
Comments
Me too, always "Bad connection...", I've tried it on 2 different computers, I've tried downgrading the Nvidia driver, but it didn't work. It used to work for me, and considering you've had this problem since March, it must be something related to some version of Switch or Atmosphere. |
Same for me. |
I've the same issue, for information here is the part of my log when disconnection appears (without any error code) : 2023-04-03 18:57:30 [INFO][MOONLIGHTSESSION] Starting: STAGE_PLATFORM_INIT I try to find another method to retrieve better log but nope... If anyone know how to get better log ! 16.0.2 Firmware and AMS 1.5.2 too Edit : It works with Sunshine instead of GeForceExperience, perfectly btw. |
Mine was doing the same thing until I connected via ethernet. Thought this was odd as it is on 5ghz wifi but I also noticed it doesn't seem to be changing the resolution on the host pc for the stream down to the 720. Ive used moonlight with sunshine on android an it changed the resolution on my pc when it was defaulted to 720. |
To auto change resolution I use ChangeScreenResolution. Works like a charm. |
Same for me. I haven't found a solution. |
I’m having the same problem with my OLED Switch and my PC is wired. I have another Switch V1 with android and moonlight works flawlessly without any problem |
Had the same problem using Nvidia Shield streaming but Sunshine works flawlessly |
Over clocking the CPU to 1362 and enabling logging lets me stream at 720p@60fps 15mbps bitrate without freezing or crashing. It’s weird that logging seems to be key to stopping the freezing. |
Overclocking the cpu actually helps! I can even play @ 1080p resolution. |
bump bad connection 16.1.0 1.5.5 |
As the title states I get a Bad Connection message and can't stream anything to my switch. The switch and my pc are on the same network I have decreased the bitrate to as low as it will go, I have been basically stood right on top of my router, I have the latest drivers and GFE, the only thing I cant confirm is that I have the latest atmosphere and my PC is running windows 10 with decent-ish spec (I got it 2 years ago and it should have been future proofed for a couple more years to come). I am at my wits end. I wanted to do this as I have moderate to severe back problems and cant sit at a PC for more than about an hour so I thought I have a hacked switch and wii u surely I can get this to work on either one of those systems as I cant afford to go out and buy a steam deck (which is about $1000 AUD) or even one of it's alternatives (albeit cheaper still expensive for me), turns out I was wrong so now if I want to play PC games I have play for an hour then take several hours "break". I have tried multiple solutions and none have worked thus far, I would be really appreciative if I can get this to work. Apologies for the emotional rant it's just getting too upsetting.
