Describe the bug

When viewing a message on a mobile device, the table of contents is spaced awkwardly.

Additional context

This seems to have happened after the addition of message preview pages, which use some of the same CSS

Spent some time cleaning this up today. The only problem now—which may not have an easy solution—is the focus order between the table of contents and the message speed control. I'm inclined to live with that for the time being.
