Blender Version (including hash): Blender 2.79 and 2.80
FLIP Fluids Version: 9.0.5.3

A bug in the sheeting effects feature can cause sudden Blender crashes while baking a simulation. The cause of the bug is a logic error that can cause memory corruption that results in a crash. The crashes can be unpredictable/inconsistent.

This has been fixed and will be included in the next version (1.0.5).
