dist directory missing

INSTALLATION instructions mention a dist/ directory with pre-compiled client-side files. I cannot find this, could you please advise?

Normally in this case I would go download the resources off the demo site instead, but the demo site is down (serving 503). Could you take a look?

The npm-published version should contain a dist dir as usual.

Can you link me to the npm-published version? Couldn't find such a reference on the package page.

Note that I am trying to avoid setting up the npm toolchain just to mess with client code.

The dist directory was ignored by publish because of the .gitignore file. This should be fixed by commit 39e2803. That being said, the project no longer even builds correctly, since it has been so long since I have updated it.
