Hi,

I've found the following paper from Roberto & Co:

"Typed Lua: An Optional Type System for Lua"
http://www.lifl.fr/dyla14/papers/dyla14-4-typed-lua-an-optional-type-system.pdf

May be some ideas could/should be used in Shine as well?
