on 1st play some content is skipped

when starting to play audio for the 1st time, the beginning word or 2 are not spoken.. is there a way to add a frame of silence to the start of the output?

when Synthesize('text': 'now is the time to come to the aid of your country) is done
audio output (thru snd service) is 'the time to come....'
