Bug description:

Sometimes when selecting a text in a view, if I use the keyboard or mouse, the text gets unselected. This is a problem when I want to copy-paste something, since pressing Ctrl unselects the text.

Expected behavior:

A selected element shouldn't get unselected, especially when pressing Ctrl or Alt.

Steps to Reproduce:

This may be linked to the keystroke capture mechanism in JS used for keyboard shortcuts.
