Inquiry about v7.0 release timeline

First of all, thank you for maintaining this valuable package for the Dart ecosystem. I notice that v7.0 has been in development for some time now, with the last stable release being about 14 months ago. I'm particularly interested in upgrading to v7.0 as soon as possible, but currently, using it requires dependency overrides which isn't ideal for production use.

Questions:

• Is there a planned timeline for the v7.0 stable release?
• Are there any remaining tasks or blockers that need to be addressed before the release?
• Is there any way the community can help accelerate the release process?

What is your reason for depending on v7.0? I don't see any functional changes since the last released version 6.5.0 ...

The real blocker here are my failed attempts at adding full unicode support to the underlying PetitParser framework. First there were performance regressions, then there were API breakages that cannot easily be avoided, and now I run out of time ...
