Let's make sure issue is not already fixed in snapshots first.

To be fair, current snapshot is not working, but I had meant to report this.

Steps to reproduce

From a fresh installation and clean workspace:

  • Import a number of JDT projects
  • Introduce some build errors
  • Fix the build errors in various files
  • Verify the error markers in Project Explorer disappear

I expected:

that the error markers would disappear automatically once I had fixed the problems in various files.

But got:

Files with previous errors still had markers on them. If I click to open those files, the markers disappear.

Tested under this environment:

  • OS & version: ... RHEL 7.9
  • Eclipse IDE/Platform version: ... 4.29-I-builds
  • ...

  • I understand reporting an issue to this OSS project does not mandate anyone to fix it. Other contributors may consider the issue, or not, at their own convenience. The most efficient way to get it fixed is that I fix it myself and contribute it back as a good quality patch to the project.
