How to get realpath after getting res .uri?

Facing the same issue here. Tried rn-fetch-blob (fs.stat) and react-native-fs (fs.stat) but none of them are working. Any solution?

OK. seriously, I didn't find an available lib to get content uri. this is my final solution: write a custom native module, and get uri via FileProvider.
android example:

• 1 declare a file provider

To get a Content URI from a file path in Android, you can use the FileProvider class. Here’s how you can achieve this:
Steps to Get Content URI from File Path:

Add FileProvider in AndroidManifest.xml Define a FileProvider in your app's manifest to handle file sharing securely.

Note androidx.core.content.FileProvider is available for sdk 34. if you are using other version sdk pls replace with the correctly provider name~!
