If mas seg faults, brew-file silently fails

I got into a situation somehow where calling mas list would seg fault. When that happened, brew file commands that tried to list appstore apps would silently exit with no indication what was wrong.

It'd be nice if it reported the command that failed to make it easier to fix.

Does mas list seg fault have any output?
If mas list fails with an output, brew file should write out them.

Anyway, I added additional output at these failures (v6.1.6).
You will see something like:

[ERROR]: Failed at command: mas list

at these failures.
