we know the vagrant slaves are small, so we should explicitly set the RAM offered by them to avoid swamping them.

This is starting to look like a best practice; I've seen hot-added RAM take out slaves due to changed metadata.

Would also add disk resources explicitly too; perhaps hold that off until the xfs quota testing.
