ALSA Still Wonky After Update #57
Comments
I don't believe I can run pianobar without a login. Can you find any other audio player with the same symptoms? |
cmus. hit the right arrow while playing flac. |
Maybe I am having the same trouble with stutter as the ratherDashing. Running SqeueezePlay on the latest raspbian 18-09-2012 with the default asound.conf causes stutter every now and then. Looking at syslog when the stutter occurs I can see that the following entries is logged: Sep 27 18:52:17 raspberrypi squeezeplay: audio_thread_execute:831 underrun!!! (at least -1348769233777.045 ms long) |
Is this still an issue with latest (rpi-update) kernel/firmware? |
Is this still an issue? |
Closing as believed to be fixed. Reopen if still an issue. |
ALSA works better now after the update but pianobar on raspbian still stutters even under no load (30%).
Using screen I got it to crash just by switching from bash:0 to bash:1 with this output to dmesg
[ 675.740026] vcos: [3020]: bcm2835_audio_close:702 bcm2835_audio_close: failed on waiting for event (status=10)
