The JAGS-based package in R, “BayesianFirstAid”, offers Bayesian alternatives to common hypothesis tests, including the binomial test, t-tests, Pearson correlation test, proportion test, and Poisson test.

However, the chi-squared test of independence remained on the to-do list for 11 years.

Except for the already implemented Bayesian alternatives "replacing" the following tests are currently on the todo list:

  • oneway.test
  • var.test
  • shapiro.test
  • chisq.test
  • wilcox.test
