Currently this is making use of pynvml in a few places:

kvikio/python/benchmarks/single-node-io.py

Lines 248 to 250 in c152f63

import pynvml.smi
nvsmi = pynvml.smi.nvidia_smi.getInstance()

However we would like to move to nvidia-ml-py in the future. Raising this issue to track this work
