It is currently unclear to users how the columns in the graph's edgelist are named, since it varies depending on whether the graph is SG/MG and which type of renumbering (or none at all) was run. This will lead to breakages if the internals of cugraph graph creation or renumbering change, and should be hidden behind an API call.
