installation

for component:

for node.js:

usage

with string url:

var subdomain = require('subdomain.js')

subdomain('http://www.example.co.uk') //=> www

with parsed url:

var subdomain = require('subdomain.js'),
    url = require('url')

subdomain(url.parse('http://www.example.co.uk')) //=> www
