New elements are not showing up

Hello :)
I'm a new HUGO user and I installed Raditian theme. I tried to add some things such as description, subtitles or sections in the file data/homepage.yml. But it does not show up.

Where am I wrong? Thanks a lot :)

In order for the new sections to show up, you need to have the corresponding partials in the layouts/partials folder, these html files serves as a template to deliver the contents in data/homepage.yml. I just copied and renamed one of the layouts that I like. Then, you have to modify the config.toml file. Add the new sections' names to sections under [params], you can also delete sections you don't want here.
