ChirpStacktoDB

Sends Data from ChirpStack to MongoDB and pass the Data to Socket.io

Requirements

Nodejs with the following modules

socket.io-client 3.10.10

mqtt

mongodb

express

http

MongoDB already Setup.

What each file does

ViewData.html - View Data on a webpage

chirpTOdb.js - Chispstack to MongoDB app

socketIOsrv.js - Socket.io Server to pass data to a webpage

Notes:

mqttserver.net = the ip of your mqtt server where ChirpStack send it data

mongodbserver.net = the ip of your mongodb server

socketioserver.net = the ip of the server wher the socket.io server is running (socketIOsrv.js)

How to run:

[root@mqtt mqttjs]# node socketIOsrv.js

[root@mqtt mqttjs]# node chirpTOdb.js

How to run as a deamon:

Install "forever"

sudo npm install forever --global

To run

[root@mqtt mqttjs]# forever start -c node socketIOsrv.js

[root@mqtt mqttjs]# forever start -c node chirpTOdb.js

to view if running

[root@mqtt mqttjs]# forever list

To View MongoDB data try Compass https://www.mongodb.com/download-center/compass
