emojis/unicode problems

Hello! I recognize this is more or less a private project, so don't feel obliged to change anything but I haven't found another project that does what I wanted to (convert the archive of an old, no-long-offline instance into html) so I guess there might be some other people wanting to use this.

I got a lot of problems like
UnicodeEncodeError: 'charmap' codec can't encode character
when trying to run the tool. Most of them were emojis, so I had to change them (mostly used the text "emoji"). Would be cool if the tool could handle emojis or had an option to replace them if needed.

I do have emojis in my archive (see it here https://quicoto.github.io/mastodon-archive/) and have no problems with it.

I don't know what this error is, nor how to fix it if I can't reproduce it.
