Why doesn't EPL fit? We have it in a different repo anyway, don't we? Btw. acorn-qml has copyright from QNX (Blackberry). So chances are good, that QNX needs and uses - and thus maintains - it, which would be very good for us, as it'd be less work for us ;) (Provided it's quality is good enough, of course) |
Which one?
Perhaps I should take a closer look, I saw that there was just one commit and did not look further. |
@akreuzkamp On a second look, https://github.com/Gaubee/acorn-qml is just a copy from https://github.com/eclipse/cdt/tree/master/qt/org.eclipse.cdt.qt.core/acorn-qml (which is a mirror of https://git.eclipse.org/c/cdt/org.eclipse.cdt.git/log/qt/org.eclipse.cdt.qt.core/acorn-qml) with some additional comments in Chinese and what looks to be some es7-related changes. The original Eclipse acorn-qml looks to be maintained. Still not sure about the license. |
@akreuzkamp Created #2 for that, let's move that discussion there and keep this only for the name change in case if we would decide to roll our own. |
Looks like
acorn-qml
is already taken by https://github.com/Gaubee/acorn-qml (I found that after creating this repo and coming up with the same name, btw 😄).That repo has only one commit and is licensed under Eclipse Public License, which doesn't look compatible, so it doesn't look like we could just use that.
Two options atm:
acorn-qmlweb
and the acorn plugin toqmlweb
.acorn-qml
name andqml
acorn plugin name, but rename the npm package toqmlweb-acorn-qml
