Expected Behaviour

Validate constraint values. Highlight the field and display an error message when an invalid value is entered.

Place helper text in or below the value input area to help the user know what values need to be entered. Hide the helper text (if appropriate) as soon as the user types a character.

Current Behaviour

Constraint values are not validated

Each constraint value has a type to validate against

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open Data Curator using the icon
  2. Select Column Properties
  3. Select Type: String, Constrain: MinLength
  4. Enter number non-integer value

  • Data Curator version 0.3.1
  • Operating System macOS Sierra 10.12.6
