The issue was locked as waiting for upstream, and libtorrent now has support for WebTorrent, I've asked for this on the IRC to no avail so I'm doing it here.

We are still waiting for an officially supported branch release from upstream (libtorrent) etc.

which exists! which is why i'm asking for this! master branch already has webtorrent support

I am aware of that but there's no release branch that supports it, read: arvidn/libtorrent#4123 (comment)

We will have to wait for libtorrent 2.1/3.x etc, qBittorrent will add support for it when it becomes GA.
