Comments buffer has errors

Unsure of this is a bug or an issue on my end:

When I start a PR and want to add a comment I get this error:

1. I got a line that I want to add a comment to
2. Press <space>ca
3. I get this error:

So the buffer where the comment goes does open, but after every key press (regardless of Vim mode) I get this error:

Any thoughts? Perhaps I didn't configure it properly?

This is not an Octo issue. Rather the IDE I was using. It has been resolved.
